Jays edge Yanks in 14th with Aaron Hill hit
June 5th, 2010 – The Toronto Blue Jays came up big against their division rival, winning in extra innings in the bottom of the 14th when second baseman Aaron Hill came up with the winning hit to shallow center.
The Blue Jays tied the game up 2-2 in the bottom of the 7th inning with a solo Home Run off the bat of red hot shortstop Alex Gonzalez. Neither team could plate another run until Hill’s single brought around Edwin Encarnacion to score the game winning run. The Jays go on to win with the score of 3-2 over the Yankees in 14.
